Acceptable Use Policy

The rules that govern how the ScaleIQ Service may be used.

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes prohibited uses of the ScaleIQ Service. It is part of our Terms of Service; capitalized terms have the meaning given there.

What you may not do

You may not use the Service, or allow anyone to use it through your account, to:

Harm people or systems

  • Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right.
  • Assess any Microsoft 365 tenant for which you have not obtained valid tenant-administrator consent.
  • Send spam, phishing, or malware, or introduce malicious code, prompt-injection, or manipulation of the assessment.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service except under our written authorization or our published responsible disclosure program.
  • Interfere with the Service’s integrity, performance, or availability, or attempt to access another customer’s tenant or data.

Misuse data or AI output

  • Submit data you do not have the right to use, or that violates privacy laws or third-party rights.
  • Submit data of children under 16 (or the equivalent local age) except as expressly permitted by law.
  • Submit special-category or regulated data (e.g., health, biometric, or government-classified information) unless we have agreed a specific addendum covering it.
  • Use AI output to make consequential decisions about an individual (employment, credit, housing, healthcare, insurance) without meaningful human review.
  • Use the Service to monitor or assess any individual’s job performance except in compliance with applicable employment and privacy laws.

Reverse engineer or compete unfairly

  • Copy, modify, decompile, or reverse engineer the Service, except as permitted by law.
  • Use the Service to build or train a competing product, or to benchmark for competitive purposes, without our prior written consent.
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service as a service bureau without our prior written consent.
  • Remove or obscure proprietary notices.

Reporting violations

Report suspected violations to abuse@scale-iq.ai. Report security vulnerabilities under our responsible disclosure guidance.

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and suspend or terminate access to address an active threat or comply with law. Where practicable, we will notify your primary contact before suspension and allow you to remediate.

Changes & contact

We may update this AUP; material changes take effect 30 days after we post or notify you, except changes addressing security or legal compliance, which may take effect immediately. Questions: legal@scale-iq.ai.
