How ScaleIQ handles personal data across our website and the Service.
This Privacy Notice explains how ScaleIQ LLC handles personal data in connection with our website (scale-iq.ai) and the ScaleIQ Service.
Two roles, two scopes
- Controller — for marketing-site visitors, prospects, account administrators, and personnel of our customers and prospects. This Notice describes that processing.
- Processor — for personal data within Customer Data processed through the Service. That processing follows the customer’s instructions and our Data Processing Addendum. End users of a customer should contact that customer directly.
What we collect
You give us
- Account & contact data — name, business email, role, employer.
- Billing data — billing contact and tax details; payment is handled by Microsoft or our payment processor, and we do not store full card numbers.
- Communications — messages you send to us.
Collected automatically
- Usage & device data — pages viewed, features used, IP address, timestamps.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Notice.
From the Service (as processor)
- Microsoft 365 tenant configuration and usage metadata read under tenant-administrator consent (for example, policy, identity, sharing, and adoption signals) and the assessment results derived from it. The Service is designed to read metadata needed for readiness scoring under least-privilege Microsoft Graph permissions.

Who we share it with
- Service providers / subprocessors — cloud hosting and supporting services that process data on our behalf under written agreements. See our Subprocessors list.
- Authorities — when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property.
- Successors — in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice where practical.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as defined under US state privacy laws.
Where data is processed
The Service runs on Microsoft Azure. We process data in the United States and, for customers who select it on eligible plans, in a designated Azure region. Where required, we use Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK IDTA/Addendum, or other approved transfer mechanisms, with supplementary measures including encryption in transit and at rest.
How long we keep it
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal requirements, then delete or anonymize it. See our Data Retention & Deletion Policy.
Your rights
Subject to local law, you may access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to processing, and withdraw consent. Use our Data Subject Requests page or email privacy@scale-iq.ai. We respond within the time required by applicable law (generally 30 days).
Automated decision-making
We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about individuals using solely automated processing. AI features surface insights for human review; customers decide how those insights inform their own decisions. See our AI & Responsible AI Policy.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
